This jersey has a fantastic two-tone pattern - the body of the shirt is a striking red, but there is a high-quality maroon trim around the bottom and the sleeves. The shirt has a great material feel! They steam-rolled in the Bundesliga, finishing 10 points ahead of arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund and also won the DFB-Pokal against Dortmund in penalties. They had a very exciting Champions League run, smashing Arsenal 5-1 in the group stages and Juventus 4-2 in the second leg of the Round of 16. They ultimately lost out to Atletico Madrid on away goals. Götze scored 6 goals in just 21 appearances in what would be his last season at Bayern.
